Ron Brown is president of Contemporary Financial Services, Inc. He has over 10 years experience in the mortgage industry and is a seasoned real estate investor. Ron has led Contemporary Financial Services to consistently achieving the monthly $1 million dollar club award from respected lenders several times a year, which resulted from providing over $1 million dollars in mortgage loans within any given month. Additionally, he has led Contemporary Financial Services to achieve the esteemed, “Broker Quality Award” from respected lenders. The Broker Quality Award is a distinctive, symbolic accolade that demonstrates his commitment to providing his clients service that encompasses integrity and respect. Keeping his entrepreneurial spirit alive, Ron is currently in the process of developing an insurance company, which will share the same values as Contemporary Financial Services. Ron’s hobbies include staying active and playing basketball before he begins his day.
After earning his MBA from Benedictine University, LaShawn rejoined Contemporary Financial Services as consultant and chief advisor to Ron Brown. LaShawn increasingly finds ways that Contemporary Financial can add value to the clients’ experience, and believes that more emphasis on educating the clients in the industry is paramount for the mortgage business. In fact, he believes this so much that he has taken the initiative of setting the new vision for the company, and reshaping the culture around providing transparent mortgage wisdom to clients. LaShawn has also delved into real estate investing, having founded Contemporary Redevelopment Corporation several years ago, which was a partnership that later disbanded. His focus has now shifted to helping grow Contemporary Financial Services into one of the most respected and admired mortgage leaders in the industry.
Robin joined Contemporary Financial Services in late 2003. Under Robin’s leadership, the financial transactions, accounting, and processing initiatives are handled expeditiously. Robin is considered an asset to our clients and this organization with her strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and tireless efforts get our clients to the closings as quickly as possible and without errors. Robin brings years of mortgage experience to Contemporary Financial Services and she is a valued member of our mortgage team. In addition to executing the day-to-day operations, Robin builds strong relationships with the best lenders in an effort to provide the clients with the best options for financing their mortgages. Her selectivity has been instrumental to the success of Contemporary Financial Services.
